How being in the army makes me a medal-winning athlete
At the elite level, most sportsmen and women strive to become full-time athletes. But what about those who choose to pursue two dreams at the same time?
Sam Kendricks won Olympic pole-vault bronze in the Rio Olympics and is among the favourites for gold at the 2017 World Championships in London - all whilst serving in the US Army Reserves.
Speaking to Ed Harry, the American explains that being in the army "gives him a different perspective" on sport.
