A taste of army life for Muslim schoolgirls
In recent times there has been a huge debate about Muslims, integration and British values. The Armed Forces have been inviting members of the Muslim community to see how the army works. As part of that, a group of Muslim schoolgirls have had a taste of army life with the famous "Desert Rats". The teenagers trained for a weekend with the 7th Armoured Brigade in Nottingham. There are only about 550 Muslims serving in the British armed forces. Military chiefs hope community activities like this will inspire more to join. Our reporter Poonam Taneja reports from Chilwell barracks in Nottinghamshire.
