Pacquiao v Horn: Compubox scoring was 'gobbledygook' – Bunce
91Èȱ¬ boxing pundit Steve Bunce says the statistics Compubox produced for the WBO world welterweight title fight between Manny Pacquiao and Jeff Horn are "gobbledygook".
Former schoolteacher Horn stunned champion Pacquiao with a unanimous points decision in Brisbane, a result some have called into question, citing the Compubox system which showed the Filipino threw more punches (182-92) than his Australian counterpart, and landed twice as many of his power punches (32%-17%).
Bunce dismisses such arguments, saying the scoring system is "absurd" because it is "impossible" to distinguish between a punch and a power punch.
