NEW WOMEN'S SERVICE FOR FEMALE OFFENDERS IN NORTHERN LINCOLNSHIRE
The new women's service is run by the Lincolnshire Action Trust and it was designed up to support women who are on a probation order or who have recently been released from prison across across Grimsby, Scunthorpe and other parts of Lincolnshire. Christina Hall, Director of Lincolnshire Action Trust says "Many of the women that I meet through this service have got very low aspirations about their lives and their future." This woman, a former offender, tells Political Reporter Sarah Sanderson how she turned a corner after a life of crime and credits the support she was given at the time to achieve this.
