Michael Bond, the creator of beloved children's character Paddington Bear, has died at the age of 91. He died at his home on Tuesday following a short illness.

Mr Bond published his first Paddington book in 1958.

Robert Alley, the illustrator of the Paddington books and close friend of Michael Bond, shares with Justin his first meeting with the author.
