Some Volunteers Ready To Quit Hospital Over Car Parking Charges

Some volunteers at Northampton General Hospital are considering resigning from roles such as receptionists, as a result of new car parking charges being brought in next month.

Some volunteers at Northampton General Hospital are considering resigning from roles such as receptionists, as a result of new car parking charges being brought in next month. The hospital says it will reimburse the volunteers it recruits directly, and it is encouraging charities to do the same for their volunteers. Groups such as "Friends Of Northampton General Hospital" and "Pets As Therapy" say that is unacceptable and that their members will step down.
