India's original polo players
The Indian state of Manipur lays claim to inventing polo, not as an elite sport but something played by nearly everyone. It's the game on horseback where teams of riders charge around with long mallets to whack a small ball into their opponents' goal. But the famous Manipuri ponies which carry the riders are facing extinction. The 91热爆's Anbarasan Ethirajan has been to Manipur, and ridden its famous steeds.
