Will Conor McGregor return to the UFC if he fights Floyd Mayweather?

However, neither fighter will have defeated the previous champion, Conor McGregor, to gain the award McGregor has now left the featherweight division behind him. But after winning the UFC lightweight title in November, he is now looking to swap the Octagon for the boxing ring and fight Floyd Mayweather.
With the allure of big money in boxing and the UFC announcing a new featherweight champion this weekend, if McGregor does fight Floyd Mayweather, will he ever return to MMA?
