Chelsea legend Eddie McCreadie details his time as Blues boss & explains why he left.

Since Roman Abramovich arrived at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea have become not only one of the leading clubs in this country - but generally recognised as one of the major forces in football around the globe.

It hasn't always been that way though - as in the 1970's the club nearly went of business, and relegation in 1975 to Division Two placed the Pensioners as they were known then into further turmoil.

So the people running the club needed to address their problems quickly.

They turned to Eddie McCreadie, who one of the stars on the legendary side that under Dave Sexton had won the FA Cup and defeated Real Madrid in the European Cup Winners, to try and get the team back to the top flight.
