The Library was one of the jewels of Godmersham Park, the grand estate which belonged to Jane Austen鈥檚 wealthy brother Edward Austen Knight. Although the library itself has now been divided up into offices, Lucy visits Godmersham鈥檚 ballroom which exactly mirrors its shape and size, in search of the library Jane loved.
