Where does Gabon's economy go from here?

Gabon is suffering from the same ailment as many in its neighbourhood: the fall in the price of oil. Sixty percent of the country's revenues come from crude and production has fallen by nearly half over the past 20 years.

President Ali Bongo Ondimba, whose father ruled Gabon for 42 years before him, says the answer is diversification. But even in a stable country that would be a big ask.

So, where does Gabon's economy go from here?

To find out, the 91热爆's Lerato Mbele sat down with Prime Minister Emmanuel Issoze-Ngondet.
