Adil also reveals the line up for the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra takeover and introduces musical director Surinder Sandhu and singer musicians Nasa Munir and Sangeeta Bhageloe! Nasa and Sangeeta sing a capella in the studio; songs from Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangesgar and Asha Bhosle. As well as giving a taste of the performances on the night the musicians describe plans to do Pakistani versions of Madonna, Abba and other Bollywood favourites from films such as Sholay, Loafer, Caravan and 1942: A Love Story, plus The James Bond Theme, Spaghetti Westerns and Eastenders. The concert is being recorded for broadcast on 91热爆 Radio 2 Friday Night is Music Night at 8pm on Friday 26 May and is part of The Spirit of England series of events.
