Drogba loses title as first player owner of a club
Abdullai Alhassan currently plays and owns Bolga All Stars, who are 15th in the Ghana Premier League. The 30 year old has beaten Didier Drogba to the title of being the first player owner of a club. The former Chelsea striker has become an executive at United States Soccer League side Phoenix Rising FC but has yet to feature for the team.
Abdullai says he became an owner to help young people in the region where the team plays.
