Was the Turkey referendum fair?
The narrow win puts the legitimacy of the referendum into doubt
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has claimed victory in a referendum which looks set to grant him sweeping new powers.
The outcome was much closer than expected and is being challenged by the opposition.
International election monitors, the OSCE, have said: "[The] referendum took place on an unlevel playing field and the two sides of the campaign did not have equal opportunities."
But the head of Turkey's electoral body said the result was valid.
