Somali Appeal in Swindon
Jamila Jama is a member of the Somali community in Swindon and she's fundraising for Save the Children, with an event around Regent Street and Canal Walk.
Jamila came to the UK 14 years ago from as an asylum seeker and is part of a 200 strong Somalian community in Swindon.
She wants to take action with the on-going humanitarian crisis in Africa.
The United Nations says it's the biggest since the end of World War Two.
A famine has already been declared in parts of South Sudan. There have also been warnings of possible famine in north-east Nigeria, Somalia and Yemen.
The UN says in all nearly 20 million people are at risk of starvation.
