Didier Drogba is one of football's most recognisable and successful stars.

Having won four English Premier League titles, four FA Cups and the European Champions League with Chelsea and been to two World Cups with Ivory Coast, he's now breaking new ground.

At the age of 39, he's joining the Phoenix Rising who play in the second tier of the north American game, as player and co-owner, and with the continued expansion of the MSL, Drogba is hoping he can help the Phoenix franchise join the top flight.
