Some people who send money to relatives in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka say they are having to increase the amount they send because of a drop in the value of the pound.
Nalini Sivathasan met one of them - Jarina, who told her she has had to make sacrifices so she can continue to support her family in India.
