A good deal for all sides?
German MEP: there will be "absolutely no naivety on the European side" during Brexit talks.
With the UK and the EU each preparing their negotiating hand, the Westminster Hour's Sam Macrory travels to Brussels to test the mood among politicians there.
"Don't underestimate the role the European Parliament will play," says German MEP and chair of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee David McAllister.
Mr McAllister adds: "We respect the British decision but nobody should be mistaken in London, there will be absolutely no naivety on the European side. The UK government will fight for the specific British interests, the Europeans will negotiate as a bloc".
