Should criminals get a softer sentence if they've been a victim of racial discrimination?
The sentencing guidelines are being updated in June and this means that before deciding on punishment, judges will take into consideration whether offenders from ethnic minorities have been discriminated against in the past. Is this a step in the right direction or does it give people an excuse to play the race card? Waqar, Sagheer and Kumar share their views with Qasa.
