The Care Quality Commission has warned against some internet prescription services
People should be wary of buying medications on the internet after an investigation found "widespread failings" by some online providers.
The Care Quality Commission inspected 11 internet prescription services in England, finding some "potentially presenting a significant risk to patients".
Jane Mordue, the chair of Healthwatch England told Justin Webb that online consultation "is the future" but "has to be done safely".
Sandra Gidley, chair of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's English Board, and Charles Lowe, managing director of the Digital Health and Care Alliance, the industry body for digital health, discuss the arguments on both sides.
