Gloucester Rugby's confirmed Head Coach Laurie Fisher has left the club with immediate effect. It's after he appeared to resign on Twitter following the Cherry and Whites' defeat to Harlequins at Kingsholm at the weekend.

In a statement last night, the club said "Gloucester Rugby would like to place on record its thanks for Laurie's hard work and commitment during his time at the club, and would like to wish him well in his future endeavours. The club will be making no further comment on the matter."
