A mum has spoken out against the "racial discrimination" her children experienced after their school called the police over their toy guns.

The boys, aged five and seven, were segregated from classmates and spoken to by police before officers confirmed there was no threat.

The 91热爆 Office and police have stressed officers were not called to the school in a "Prevent capacity", while Central Bedfordshire Council has admitted discrimination against the boys and compensated the mother.

Mother "Kay", not her real name, speaks anonymously to Victoria Derbyshire, and we hear from the family's solicitor Debaleena Dasgupta and Alex Kenny from the National Union of Teachers (NUT).
