When the Cameroonian Sports Minister was pictured in a dramatically low bow, while shaking the hand of President Paul Biya, it sparked some serious social media silliness. People were competing to show mock respect, some making theatrical bows, some just lying prostrate on the floor. So how is deference expressed in different countries, and can it be taken too far?
