Black Sabbath, hailed as the band who created heavy metal, are brandishing their axes for the last time.
On Saturday, they play the final gig of their The End tour in Birmingham, the city where it all started 49 years ago.
Joanna Gosling spoke to Nick Ruskell from the rock magazine Kerrang!, who is also a massive Sabbath fan, Alexander Milas, who is working on a project called 91热爆 of Metal which celebrates the influence of Black Sabbath and other Birmingham bands, Jim Simpson, the band's first manager when they changed their name from Earth in the late 1960s, and Paulette, the lead singer of an all-female Sabbath tribute band.
