Is it wrong to use the term 'honour based violence'?

A British Asian MP is trying to get the term 'honour killing' changed. Conservative Nusrat Ghani says it disguises the horror of the violence victims face and puts police off investigating. Victims have been killed for refusing to enter a marriage, committing adultery or being in a relationship that is perceived to bringing shame on the family. The Tory MP is trying to get the law changed so official publications describe these crimes as domestic abuse, murder or rape and NOT honour based violence. Is it wrong to try and change the term? Would changing it help to tackle the issue? Nusrat spoke to Shazia about why she wants to change the term and caller 'Sam' talks about his 18 year-old niece who is in hiding because of 'honour' within the family.
