Traffickers selling baby chimps and killing their families
A secret network of wildlife traffickers selling baby chimpanzees has been exposed by a year-long 91热爆 News investigation.
There is a growing demand for baby chimps as exotic pets in the Gulf States and Asia, and they are being increasingly seized from the wild.
The only way to catch them is to kill the adults in their families.
The 91热爆 found dealers willing to sell the apes - which are an endangered species - for 拢10,000 each
After arresting the men, police uncovered computer and mobile phone evidence of an international smuggling network linking corrupt officials, middlemen and buyers.
