Tributes have poured in for the actor Om Puri who has died from a heart attack.He was known for his gritty performances in films like 鈥淓ast is East鈥�, Gandhi, and TV dramas like 鈥淭he Canterbury Tales鈥�. He was awarded an honorary OBE for his contribution to the British film industry in 2004.
