Remembering Reading's iconic cinemas
With the last ABC cinema closing, we asked for your memories.
Listener Val called in:
"I remember being anything from 8-10, going to the cinema in Oxford Road. Saturday morning pictures used to cost us six pence to get in.
"We used to have an ABC minors song that we sung every Saturday before the programme started.
"I will always remember it, quite often it flashes through my mind."
