The comedy and theatrical star is getting her own biography.

Kaye Crawford, Biographer:

"Unfortunately Beryl had a pathological fear of being forgotten, and I think that has happened in the last twenty years. She has been allowed to disappear a bit.

"Everybody adored Beryl Reid, so when I started to contact different people...the first thing they said was that they adored her. Really once I started to talk to different people it was a question of what to leave out.

"There was so much stuff. Really it was a testament to how much people loved Beryl."
