Lawyer for Ramandeep Kaur Mann hopes she'll be released in the New Year
Lawyers for a British woman accused of plotting to kill her husband in India say they are appealing against a court decision NOT to release her on bail. They want Ramandeep Kaur Mann to be released from custody there while the investigation takes place. She was arrested after her husband Sukhjit Singh, a lorry driver from Derby, was found murdered in his bed, during a visit to the country. Her lawyer Benant Singh Marok says that they are optimistic she will be released in the New Year. Ramandeep denies all the allegations against her.
