Could hunting giraffes for their tails lead to extinction?
There鈥檚 been a big drop in giraffe numbers. In 1985 there were around 155,000 in the wild, now there are fewer than 97,000. And a lot of it is down to people wanting their tails. With poachers causing the likely extinction of the white rhino for their horns, could giraffes suffer the same fate?.
