Briton 'relieved' at sentence for Trump death plot
A British man who tried to shoot Donald Trump has been sentenced to 12 months and one day at a court in Las Vegas.
Twenty-year-old Michael Sandford - who is autistic - attempted to snatch a policeman's gun at rally for the then-Republican candidate back in June.
Michael Sanford's mother, Lynne Sandford, told the programme it was fantastic news and they were "enormously relieved".
