Cameroon's 'protected' Penja pepper

Very few African countries have realised the economic value of geographically protecting their local produce. For example, champagne can only be called champagne if it is made in the Champagne region of France.

So far, only three African products have received an internationally protected geographical indications label.

The first one was Penja pepper in Cameroon and the 91热爆's Suzanne Vanhooymissen went to see how it transformed the region.
