Tony Lawson has welcomed the decision to allow a memorial bench to his daughter Jessica in the East Yorkshire village of Kirk Ella.
Jessica died when she was on a school trip to France last year. Plans for a red and black bench were rejected by Kirk Ella parish council last week, but East Riding of Yorkshire Council has now agreed to pay for and install one.
