Could Japan's 'sex crisis' leave the country empty?

Japanese people need to have more sex. That's according to a doomsday clock made by researchers at Tohoku University. They predict the country's current "sex crisis" means that by 16 August 3766 there will be one person left in Japan. The estimate is based on a falling fertility rates and an ageing population. So how does the UK compare?
