That's right: it's the country versus the supermarket. For years Iceland (the frozen food one) has stopped Icelandic companies from using the term "Iceland" when trying to sell its products abroadThe company says it's trying to protect its brand name but now Iceland (the one with the glaciers and successful football team) are taking them to a European court, saying the word is "too broad" to own.
