Thomas: 'Dire' Welsh performances 'a national crisis'
Former Wales full back Gareth Thomas says the recent string of poor performances have created "a national crisis".
With Warren Gatland having stepped down to focus on next summer's Lions tour, Wales were heavily beaten by Australia before relying on a late drop goal to beat Japan.
But Thomas doesn't believe the Welsh need to undertake a total overhaul of their game style.
"You don't just throw away the success we've had under Gatland. You use that success and try to enhance it," he added.
