Cllr David Nimmo-Smith on proposed work to the Playhatch Road in Sonning.

"We're anticipating it will cost around 拢7 million to do that stretch of road.

"The way that the bidding goes is that to government will see that we're planning on putting a number of different schemes in.

"The way that the cabinet works is that she (Theresa May) will leave it to the relevant cabinet member, so in this case the Department of Transport.

"We're going to have to close the road for two to three months...hopefully less."
