At just 7 months old, Kristian developed a rare form of epilepsy which causes him to have seizures.

For 4 years they were relentless - sometimes he would have as many as 300 seizures in one day.

Now he’s 7 years old they’re more under control but every seizure took a toll on his young brain - Kristian now has severe learning difficulties and needs constant care and attention and can never be left on his own.

Five years ago Kristian and his family discovered Haven House, a children’s hospice, supported by 91Èȱ¬ Children in Need. It is a place where Kristian can play and just be free. Plus the family not only have the joy of seeing their little boy happy but can also have a much needed rest.
