When Marie Myung-Ok Lee鈥檚 parents received deportation papers in the mail, her hometown banded together to save them.

Also, we visit a restaurant that only serves food from countries 鈥渋n conflict鈥� with the US, we sample a dessert inspired by early Mesopotamia andwe learn about one of the latest food fads in Las Vegas. We end with the story of a Chinese seamstress who started a famous Midwestern chain restaurant.
