This is Kai’s story, told by Greg James.

Kai is 14 but when he was just one year old he suffered a massive stroke which left him with Cerebral Palsy and is now quadriplegic. Every day he needs help and assistance, which as a teenage boy can be incredibly frustrating for him.

With the support of Children in Need though, there is somewhere he can go every week which allows him to feel free and have fun.

Surfability allows all children, whatever their disability, to get into the sea and surf. His surfing instructor Ben, who Children in Need fund, has adapted the boards so Kai can sit and ride the waves.
