Stevenage at 70: Mars rover
As Stevenage turns 70, we explore how the new town has become something of a hub for high tech industries.
It doesn't get much more high tech than space exploration, and Airbus Defence and Space is at the forefront of it.
The company is one of the biggest employers in the town, with about 1,200 employees.
It played a key part in the Rosetta mission to land a probe on a comet after a journey of 10 years.
When Tim Peake was in the International Space Station, he also remotely controlled the Mars rover that was at the Stevenage site.
