Former head of the US environmental protection agency Christine Whitman says Donald Trump will try to reverse some climate policies but a "president can't unwind everything".

During the election campaign, Mr Trump threatened to pull out of the international climate change deal.

But Ms Whitman, a former Republican governor, said there were constraints on what he could do.
