Nick Clegg
Nick Clegg started out as a Liberal Democrat MP for Sheffield in 2005 and after a brief period he was being compared to Winston Churchill and we saw the start of "Cleggmania" Within five years he rose to become the Deputy Prime Minister in David Cameron's coalition government. But in the general election of 2015 the tide turned and his party suffered a spectacular brutal collapse. He resigned as the leader.
His new book, Politics: Between the Extremes, gives an insight into his time in government and argues that the politics of compromise, moderation and above all liberalism is needed now more than ever.
The former Deputy Prime Minister shares his thoughts on what it was like being Theresa May's boss, what he thinks of her leadership and the future of the UK under BREXIT.
