One of the largest compensation claims against the Catholic Church starts today at the High Court in Leeds
A civil case for compensation for men who say they were abused at a Catholic-run children's home in East Yorkshire gets underway today.
Over 200 men are suing the Catholic Church following decades of abuse at the St William's approved school in Market Weighton.
The civil case will start with five test claims at the High Court in Leeds.
If they're successful, it could result in eventual pay-outs of millions of pounds.
