The UK prime minister Theresa May, in India on a trade mission, has said she wants the UK to be a global leader in free trade after Brexit. But will other countries play ball?

What will Britain's trade relations with the rest of the world look like after it leaves the European Union? UK prime minister Theresa May is in India on a trade mission laying the groundwork for an eventual free trade deal. Presenter Manuela Saragosa speaks to Sir Andrew Cahn, former chief executive of UK Trade and Investment, the government department that promotes exports and attracts inward investment, who says negotiating trade deals is a "cold, calculated affair" where previous close ties between countries count for little. Plus, our regular commentator Lucy Kellaway of the Financial Times tells us how she dealt with some unwelcome feedback.
