Former NASA astronaut Mike Massimino describes the 'chaos' of space and looking down at earth from the Hubble Space Telescope as it orbited Earth. he told 5 live's Sarah Brett and Nihal Arthanayake:

"The only thing that protects us from this harshness of space where we can't exist,is our beautiful atmosphere."
