A police dog stabbed while trying to apprehend a suspect has inspired a petition calling for a change in the law.
German Shepherd Finn was chasing a man suspected of robbing a taxi driver at gunpoint in Stevenage on 5 October.
The Finn's Law campaign wants people who attack police animals to face charges similar to those for attacking a person.
