Banning the national anthem from graduation ceremonies
King's College London welfare officer Mahamed Abdullahi called for "God Save the Queen" to be replaced or removed completely from graduation ceremonies. Posting on Facebook, Mr Abdullahi called for fellow students to pledge their support for his idea ahead of discussions with the university. He also says that in the context of rising far-right nationalism, and given the legacy of the British Empire, the song should no longer be used. So, should the national anthem be banned from graduation ceremonies? Caller Bhavna, a former student of Kings College, shares her thoughts with Amol Rajan.
