A Syrian teacher living in Eastern Aleppo has told 5 live Drive 鈥渨e are living but we don鈥檛 know until when.鈥� It comes after the UN鈥檚 special envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura declared that the area would be completely destroyed before Christmas if the current level of fighting continues.

Abdulkafi Alhamdo is an English teacher in the region and says the people there 鈥渄on鈥檛 have anything.鈥�

鈥淲e don鈥檛 see vegetables we don鈥檛 see fruit at all.鈥�

At least 376 people have been killed and 1,266 wounded in the last two weeks in Aleppo according to UN humanitarian advisor Jan Egeland.
